Vocational program for students with disabilities expands

A pilot program to offer job experience to students with disabilities in one Chicago-area high school is being expanded throughout the school district. The program has students with special needs assembling hardware packages to be sold at home-improvement stores, while also teaching them other business skills such as bookkeeping and management.
