Chains put past winners back on the menu

Wendy's had a hit in 2005 with its Mozzarella Chicken Supreme sandwich, Burger King's Whiplash Whopper made a splash as part of a 2010 promotion of the movie "Iron Man II" and A&W created a new favorite five years ago with the launch of its Mushroom Onion Melt. All three chains are putting the proven past hits back on the menu to shore up sales in uncertain times.
