Genetic mutation raises CRC mortality risk, studies show

Having the genetic BRAF mutation doubles the mortality risk for colorectal cancer patients, according to an analysis of 26 CRC studies. Canadian researchers said the data show that if the BRAF mutation can successfully be inhibited it could improve survival for patients.
