Stakeholders come together for Disability Mentoring Day

Nearly 100 high-school students with disabilities in the Pittsburg, Kan., area participated in Disability Mentoring Day, where they talked to representatives from colleges and local companies about potential careers. Students also received advice on career topics, such as job-interview skills, effects of social media on getting a job and filling out job applications. "It's good for the kids to learn how to ask questions and get information," Pittsburg High School educator Sarah Reese said.
