Ad revenue at media networks up 10% in Viacom's Q4

Advertising revenue for Viacom's media networks unit increased 10% in its fiscal fourth quarter, which ended Sept. 30. Viacom cited better ratings on MTV and Nickelodeon, as well as improvements in the overall retail sector. "A year ago, we pledged to redouble our efforts to return ratings momentum, and we delivered on that promise," said Viacom CEO Philippe Dauman.
