Bill would extend children's online, mobile privacy protections

Lawmakers reintroduced on Thursday the Do Not Track Kids Act, which would restrict Internet companies from gathering personal as well as location information from children younger than age 16 without consent. The legislation, which would amend the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, is supported by several organizations, including the AAP and Center for Science in the Public Interest.
