EPA considering targets for advanced biofuels higher than leaked document, sources say

The Environmental Protection Agency has indicated to industry representatives that it is considering a range of advanced biofuel blending targets above the 2.21 billion gallons suggested in a draft proposal leaked earlier this year, according to sources who were at the consultation meetings. The amounts being considered, however, are still below the statutory level of 3.75 billion gallons, the sources said.
