Social media can allow the C-suite to communicate directly with customers and employees, offering benefits once top executives let go of their initial reluctance, Ekaterina Walter writes. More than 80% of respondents in a BRANDfog survey view social media as an important channel for CEOs to engage on, and 84% say CEO engagement through social media increases brand loyalty. "We are witnessing a fundamental shift in the culture of leadership," BRANDfog CEO Ann Charles said.
