Long-delayed $500M mixed-use project in Mass. breaks ground

A group of developers broke ground Wednesday on the long-stalled $500 million mixed-use project called University Station in Westwood, Mass. The 2-million-square-foot development on 130 acres will consist of residential units, office and retail space, a hotel and an assisted living facility. "There are lots of signs that the economy is making a comeback and starting construction [on this project] is one of those signs," said Michael Jaillet, administrator for the town of Westwood.
