Patient surveys used by top medical practices

Nearly 80% of medical practices deemed "better-performers" conducted patient satisfaction polls and did so at a greater frequency compared with other practices, according to the Medical Group Management Association's Performance and Practices of Successful Medical Groups: 2013 Report Based on 2012 Data. Researchers also found nearly 10% of better-performing practices partly determine physician payment based on patient surveys.
