Pinnacle's on-trend products drive growth of frozen foods

Pinnacle's Birds Eye vegetables and Birds Eye Voila! bagged meals are helping the company hold or regain market share in the frozen food segment. The company posted net sales of $572 million for the quarter ended Sept. 29, and net sales in the frozen segment increased 0.8% compared to the previous year. Pinnacle recently introduced Birds Eye Recipe Ready, a line of pre-chopped and blended vegetables to help in preparation of meals like stir-fry, pot pies and pizzas.
