Veterans association donates Sikorsky helicopter to Marine Corps museum

Marine Helicopter Squadron 361 Veterans Association recently donated a Sikorsky UH-34D to the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Virginia. The helicopter will be part of the museum's Operation Starlite exhibit, expected to open in 2016. The group had spent five years and $350,000 to restore the helicopter, but said it had become impractical to keep it flying.
