Children bring their "buddies" to school in black bags

Maine's program to provide every seventh- and eighth-grader in the state with a laptop computer has given the students opportunities to "learn and think like scientists and mathematicians," according to one teacher. Critics of the program argue that the children are too young to be responsible for such expensive technology.
