Arizona conservatives worried about California stem cell research

Right-to-life activists in Arizona are seeking a statewide ban on stem cell research to keep the expanding research in California from spilling over into Arizona. The conservative Center for Arizona Policy suggests the proposed measure might include a ban on human cloning. Regional biotech industry leaders, however, are more concerned that Arizona scientists may follow the lure of research funding into California.
