Canada not America's drugstore, official says

The declaration by Canada's health minister that his country cannot be a drugstore for Americans who clamor for lower prescription drug prices was seen as an admission that Canada simply cannot support the demand. Canada's population is only 10% of the U.S. population, and sales by Canadian Internet pharmacies amounted to $1 billion in 2003 in comparison to an American market of $200 billion a year.
