Nanotech experts call for risk research to reassure public

Fourteen international nanotechnology experts in a journal commentary called for quick research into the potential dangers of the work to reassure the public about its value to medicine. U.S. lawmakers said the report "lays out a clear, reasonable, prioritized, consensus-based set of priorities" and urged the federal government to create a plan and budget to implement the scientists' recommendations.
