Study: Drug combo may improve ovarian cancer patients' survival

An international research team says a combination of two types of cancer drugs, platinums and taxanes, may extend survival for patients with ovarian cancer when injected into the abdominal cavity. The scientists reviewed studies of ovarian cancer involving more than 15,000 patients to identify the most effective chemotherapy combinations.
