Handset makers crowd TomTom, Garmin on GPS turf

Handset makers such as Nokia will sell 48% more phones equipped with GPS this year than last, and automakers are rolling out more new models with navigational systems, according to a study by iSuppli. The trends could be bad news for established manufacturers of GPS devices such as TomTom and Garmin.
