South Dakota offers grant money to boost rural health care

The South Dakota Department of Health will offer nearly $200,000 in grant money through its Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility Program, a federal program that aims to strengthen rural health care. Fourteen hospitals in South Dakota with Critical Access Hospital certifications will receive money to help boost health care IT initiatives.
