Heinz ketchup: Now with fewer emissions

H.J. Heinz Co. made major advancements on sustainability this year, according to its 2009 Corporate Social Responsibility Report. The company cut its greenhouse-gas emissions, solid-waste production, and energy and water use. Heinz aims to draw 15% of its power from renewable sources by 2015 and reduce packaging, fuel consumption for transportation, and the carbon footprint of its tomato-growing operations.
