African countries see an increase in cement demand

Some countries in Africa are loaded with infrastructure projects, which could be good news for the cement industry. Nigerian cement demand is expected to increase by 45% this year, and East Africa expects a 33% increase. Meanwhile, LaFarge in Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo has increased its production, and in Mozambique new cement projects have been approved, with more in the pipeline.
