Economists don't expect more quantitative easing from the Fed

A Wall Street Journal survey of economists found that few expect the Federal Reserve to launch another round of quantitative easing beyond its current bond-buying plan. The Fed is not expected to expand its Treasury purchases despite forecasts of sluggish economic growth and persistently high unemployment. The central bank said it will review its quantitative-easing efforts as the recovery evolves.
