EPA sets water pollution standards for Florida

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has set specific numerical limits on nutrient pollution levels allowed in lakes, rivers, streams and other inland waters in Florida. The state has been given 15 months to implement the rules to allow time for businesses, local governments and others to review the standards and come up with ways to abide by them.
