Report says 500 million will use health apps by 2015

A study by Berlin-based research2guidance predicted 500 million of a total 1.4 billion people with smartphones will use health applications by 2015. Some 70% of cell phone subscribers live in developing countries, and health apps are seen as a way to expand access to physicians, diagnostics and patient monitoring.
