YouTube's first original-content foray is aimed at Hispanic viewers

YouTube's first original-programming effort is geared toward the Hispanic viewing audience, which is part of a 100-channel original-content strategy that will include brand-name media content providers. "The YouTube original channels initiative will also enable us to expand our international reach," said Jorge Maldonado, co-founder of the Clevver Media's ClevverTeVe Spanish-language news and entertainment channel.
