Commission approves management shift at Kansas Star Casino

The Kansas Lottery Commission has approved Kansas Star Casino's transfer of management from Peninsula Gaming to Boyd Gaming. The Las Vegas-based company agreed last spring to buy Peninsula, which included management of the Mulvane, Kan., casino. Keith Kocher, director of gaming facilities for the lottery, said the deal could close next week if the Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission gives its approval in a meeting today.
