Advances in gesture-recognition technology are making it possible for people to interact with Internet-connected television sets the way they do with tablet computers, Colin Neagle writes. "[T]he role of the TV is changing inside the home," said Stephen Prentice of Gartner, who sees TVs evolving to eventually just be "the largest screen in the house."
