Hearing impairment is more common in diabetes patients

Hearing impairment was more than twice as common in diabetes patients than in their peers without diabetes, a study in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism found. The findings suggest people with diabetes should undergo hearing tests more routinely, researchers said.
