One in 3 doctors considers move to concierge medicine

Data from an Accenture survey revealed 1 in 3 primary care physicians is thinking about shifting to subscription-based care, including concierge medicine. The trend has caused concern that care will become less available for those who can't afford it. Hybrid concierge medicine may allow hospitals to retain such physicians while caring for a broad patient population, Concierge Choice Physicians founder Wayne Lipton said.
