Bruegger's, Caribou grow closer with co-branded shops

Bruegger's Bagels and Caribou Coffee have had a relationship since 1992 when the first Caribou store opened next to one of the bagel shops. Today, the independently owned companies take another step closer with the opening of their first two co-branded stores in Minnesota. "Both sides are very curious to see how the customers are reacting. You can run extensive market studies, question many people, do focus groups and all of that, but in the end, you have to put it in front of the customer and see," said Claude Bergeron, co-CEO of Bruegger's parent Le Duff America.
