Cloud Security Alliance launches Software Defined Perimeter initiative

The Cloud Security Alliance is kicking off the Software Defined Perimeter initiative in an effort to utilize cloud computing to safeguard application infrastructure, Sean Michael Kerner writes. "The hope is that, from a security perspective, once companies get used to using a standard security framework in one cloud, when they move to another cloud the same kind of security services will be available," said Applicology CEO Bob Flores, who once served as chief technology officer at the Central Intelligence Agency.
