NeuroPace gains FDA approval for epilepsy device

The FDA has granted NeuroPace approval for its RNS System, an implantable device designed to minimize seizures in patients with epilepsy who have failed to respond to medications. The neurostimulator works by sending electrical pulses to areas in the brain believed to be triggering the seizures.
