Nuclear plants in Taiwan pass stress tests, European regulators say

A peer review conducted by the European Commission and the European Nuclear Safety Regulators' Group confirmed that the safety standards used by nuclear power plants in Taiwan are in accordance with international state-of-the-art practices. They recommended the installation of higher protection walls against tsunamis and the use of updated methodology for the evaluation of seismic and flooding risks.
