Officials mull solutions to improving schools' broadband access

President Barack Obama has announced plans to expand broadband Internet access in schools -- an initiative known as ConnectED. Now, officials are tasked with providing the funding to make Obama's vision a reality. Current proposals include using federal E-Rate program funds or making a one-time investment to bring all schools up to speed -- a proposition that could cost as much as $11 billion.
