Sister donates tissue to twin for breast reconstruction

Plastic surgeon David Song reconstructed the breasts of a cancer patient using tissue donated by her identical twin sister. Using tissue from an identical twin eliminates the need for the patient to take immunosuppressive drugs, said Song, chief of plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
