Travel alliance says AA-US Airways merger settlement could boost competition

Consumer groups say the settlement between US Airways, American Airlines and the Department of Justice could boost competition. "Opening up these larger airports to low-cost companies will allow the JetBlues and Southwests of the world to start serving these bigger airports in greater numbers," said Charlie Leocha, the director of the Consumer Travel Alliance.
