UCP of Ill. playground is fully wheelchair accessible

The playground at United Cerebral Palsy of Illinois Prairieland's center in Joliet is believed to be the first in the state to be fully wheelchair accessible, adding to play options available to children with disabilities. The slide accommodates wheelchairs, a glider boat helps children develop balance, sensory stations encourage stretching and a rubber surface covers the ground, allowing wheelchairs to move around more easily.
