USPSTF posts draft breast cancer research plan for public comment

The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force on Thursday issued a draft research plan that it says will be used as basis for the agency's update to its breast cancer screening guidelines. The draft research plan outlines a proposed framework for analysis of breast cancer research, key questions for the systematic review of research and contextual questions critical to the formation of recommendations. The USPSTF will accept public comments on the draft research plan through December 11.
