Chicago Sees Its After-School Programs Strengthened

A new initiative will make it possible for about 50,000 more Chicago public-school children to attend classes after school at an additional 50 schools. Schools will be given the ability to choose activities in their after-school programs, and these may include formal academic programs or more creative programs.
