A visionary teacher grooms D.C. students for college

Washington D.C. teacher Susie Kay started the nonprofit group Hoop Dreams 10 years ago to give black youngsters access to the same resources she enjoyed in her life. Her group offers mentoring, SAT prep, scholarship search help and financial aid to students as they search for a college and pursue a degree.
