Micro-hotel concept catches on beyond Japan

The capsule hotels that have become popular in Japan have inspired a new generation of no-frills hotels, which offer affordable accommodations in small spaces. The newest versions throw in a dash of high-style and technology for the micro-spaces, and they include British company Yotel, which opened its first hotel in London's Gatwick Airport in July, and Qbic in Amsterdam.
