End in sight for California's stalled Auburn Dam

After 43 years of legal wrangling over California's proposed Auburn Dam near Sacramento, the dam project may be scrapped for good. Despite millions of dollars spent on studies, construction on the American River dam ceased in 1975. Now, California is planning to revoke the water rights it granted to the federal government for the dam's construction.
