Charlotte airport to acquire $3.2M in bank buildings

Charlotte/Douglas International Airport plans to acquire three hangars, a fuel farm and another building from Wells Fargo for $3.2 million. Wells Fargo plans to shut down its airport operations, which are left over from its acquisition of Wachovia last year. Wachovia maintained a fleet of five corporate jets at the general aviation airport in Charlotte, N.C.
