Industry consortium begins new phase of EDI growth research

The U.S. Healthcare Efficiency Index has begun the second phase of a project to measure the growth of electronic data interchange or the adoption rate of electronic-based administrative and financial transactions within the industry. In the new phase, some national payers will submit information online to the National Data Collection Center.
