The Mercado de Dulces, or market of sweets, in Morelia, Mexico, has 28 stalls offering regional treats including dulce de leche infused with tequila and coconut-stuffed limes. Vendors hand out cubes of "ate," made of slow-cooked guava, pear or quince and dusted with chili powder and sugar.
