Citigroup looks to court small businesses and will add staff

Citigroup is planning to hire about 200 bankers by the end of next year to woo small businesses as the company targets companies with annual sales of less than $20 million. "We feel we can help business owners and the economic recovery, and there's money to be made for our shareholders," said Raj Seshadri, head of small-business banking for Citigroup. JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America and Wells Fargo are also seeking to woo small-business customers.
