39 states now have live Medicaid EHR incentive programs

Thirty-nine states as of Nov. 7 have rolled out their programs to administer Medicaid incentives to providers that demonstrate meaningful use of electronic health records, with Arkansas, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Delaware and Montana being the latest to do so. Twenty-three of those states are already issuing EHR payments, while even more states and territories are expected to join in on the program in the coming months.
