ATA files lawsuit against Export-Import Bank

The Air Transport Association of America filed a lawsuit on Wednesday against the Export-Import Bank of the United States over loan guarantees to foreign carrier Air India. "This is yet another example of the U.S. government failing to recognize the contribution of the U.S. airline industry to our economy and jobs growth by creating an environment that favors foreign competitors over domestic carriers," said Nicholas Calio, president and CEO of the ATA.
