CFPB receives high marks on finances from GAO

The Government Accountability Office said that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's financial statements were "fairly presented in all material respects." The new agency "had effective internal control over financial reporting" and "no reportable instances of noncompliance" were found, according to the GAO.
