Maryland hospital earns gold for being green

Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Md., has achieved a LEED Gold Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council because of its green roofs, energy-efficient features and recycled building materials. The facility uses less energy and water compared to a traditional hospital, and was built with sustainable methods.
